Teen Read
Week October 9th -12th
1. Annual
Library Book Mark Contest: Two winners, one from middle
school
and one from high school, will receive a $20 gift card to Amazon,
and
their bookmark reproduced to give away to the PFTSTA community.
You can
visit the library for a hard copy or open here:

All
bookmarks are due in the library by Wednesday, October 24th at
2:30PM.
3. Now showing in your library: Visit the
library at lunch on Tuesday to
watch "Third from the Sun" an episode of the
television show The Twilight Zone.
A treat will be served.
2. Who is the star? Guessing Game: On Wednesday
and Friday, visit the
library to get a clue about a starring character in a book or a
starring
actor in a movie. If you guess the name of the character or
actor correctly,
you will receive a small prize.
4. Get Crafty: Visit the library on Thursday to make
a paper star to hang in a window.
5. Rate it One to Five: Visit the library on
Friday and use our star rating system
to tell us your opinion of any book that you’ve read. We’ll take
your picture and
share your recommendation on the library website.
6. Fine
Forgiveness Week: You may return any overdue book/s during
Teen
Read Week without having to pay a fine.
(You are still
responsible for fines for overdue books returned before October 1st)
7. Guess
the Number of Stars in the Jar: See if you can figure out how many
candy
stars
are in the jar. To win, your answer must be closest to the correct number
without
going
over. The person with the winning guess will get to take home all the
candy
in the
jar.
8. Vote for Teen’s Top Ten: Help select the
2018 top ten best books. Vote for up to 3 of
